Concerns and misconceptions about honey bees.

There some common concerns and misconceptions about honey bees and flying insects in general.  First, many people believe they have been stung by a bee when it was a different insect.

- Africanized (Killer) bees, are not found in Iowa, only as far north as southern Nevada. See the map updated by the USDA in January of 2007.
